    Used racking valuation FAQs

How much is used pallet racking worth?

Value depends on manufacturer, frame height and depth, beam length and quantity, condition, and how easy the racking is to remove. Well-known brands such as Dexion and Link 51 in good condition, in large quantities and already dismantled, achieve the strongest values. Small mixed-brand lots that need dismantling are worth considerably less because the labour cost is deducted from the resale value.

Is this valuation a firm offer?

No. The figure this tool produces is an indicative range only. A firm offer follows a physical or photographic inspection, because condition, component compatibility, missing parts, site access and dismantling requirements all change the final number.

Do I have to dismantle the racking myself?

No. We can dismantle and collect nationwide. If we handle the dismantling, that labour cost is reflected in the valuation, which is why already-dismantled and palletised racking is valued higher.

    Will you buy damaged racking?

Often yes. Damaged uprights and beams can be repaired or recycled, so damaged stock still has value — it is simply valued lower than undamaged components.

What information should I have ready?

Manufacturer (check the label or profile shape), frame height and depth, beam length and levels per bay, number of bays, and photographs of the run ends and any damage. Postcode and access details help us price collection accurately.
