2. Services

UM Storage Systems Ltd provides pallet racking supply and installation, mezzanine floors, industrial shelving, racking inspections, dismantling and relocation, emergency repairs, and complete warehouse fit-out services across the United Kingdom.

3. Quotations & Pricing

All quotations are provided free of charge and without obligation.
Quotations are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless stated otherwise.
Prices are subject to site survey confirmation and may be adjusted based on actual site conditions.
All prices are quoted exclusive of VAT unless stated otherwise.
We aim to provide all quotations within 24 hours of enquiry.

4. Orders & Payment

Orders are confirmed upon written acceptance of our quotation and receipt of any agreed deposit.
Payment terms are 30 days from invoice date unless otherwise agreed in writing.
We reserve the right to charge interest on overdue accounts at 8% above the Bank of England base rate.
Title of goods remains with UM Storage Systems Ltd until payment is received in full.

5. Installation & Site Access

The customer must provide safe, clear, and suitable access to the installation site.
Any delays caused by inadequate site preparation or access may result in additional charges.
Our installation teams are CSCS-carded, DBS-checked, and work to HSE and SEMA standards.
Installation timelines are estimates and may vary due to site conditions or unforeseen circumstances.

6. Warranties & Guarantees

New racking systems carry a manufacturer's warranty as specified at the time of purchase.
Used racking is supplied in good working condition and inspected before despatch, but is sold without manufacturer warranty.
Our installation workmanship is guaranteed for 12 months from completion.
All systems are installed to SEMA guidelines and comply with current UK health and safety regulations.

7. Insurance & Liability

UM Storage Systems Ltd holds £10 million public liability insurance. Our liability for any single claim is limited to the value of the contract in question. We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, or special losses arising from the provision of our services.

8. Cancellations

Orders may be cancelled in writing within 7 days of confirmation, subject to a restocking fee for any goods already ordered or manufactured.
Custom or made-to-order items are non-refundable once production has commenced.
Installation bookings cancelled with less than 48 hours' notice may incur a cancellation charge.

9. Health & Safety

We take health and safety seriously. All works are carried out in accordance with the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974, SEMA Code of Practice, and relevant HSE guidance. Risk assessments and method statements (RAMS) are provided for all installation projects.

10. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, images, designs, CAD drawings, and logos, is the property of UM Storage Systems Ltd and is protected by UK copyright law. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content without our written permission.
